Before playing Carnegie Hall on Feb. 4, baritone Jonathan Beyer will perform at Roberts Wesleyan College at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, in the Andrews B. Hale Auditorium of the Roberts Cultural Life Center.
Pianist Kristin Okerlund, of the Vienna Strastsoper, will accompany him, and the duo will preview the show they will play at the legendary hall a few days later.
Beyer was the winner of the 2010 Rochester Oratorio Society's Classical Idol Vocal Competition, and recently appeared in the Metropolitan Opera's production of Gounod's Faust.
