As Halloween nears, area hayrides, corn maizes and haunted houses are beginning to open. If you’re looking for a good scare, try Haunted Hayrides of Greater Rochester in Williamson for a 35-minute ride, for $17. SEE ‘A CHORUS LINE’:
This weekend, 25 North Theater Productions presents Michael Bennett’s “A Chorus Line.” Artistic and Vocal Director Judith Ranaletta will present this Broadway classic at Nazareth Elementary Auditorium. Tickets are available at Wegmans for $14, and $12 for students and seniors. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 30, 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 1 and 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 2. GO TO BILL EVANS DANCE:
Geva Theatre hosts “Autumn Leaves: Hot Jazz/Cool Tap” presented by Bill Evans Dance this weekend, featuring Williams Evans, Cheryl Johnson and Courtney World with guest artists Don Halquist and Leanne Rinelli; and the No Mean Feat Jazz Trio. GO BACK IN TIME:
The Genesee Country Museum is hosting the 19th-century style fair, the Agricultural Society Fair. The fair is free with admission ($16, $13 seniors and students, $10 ages 4-16).
