Bio: Son of Monica and John, Jimmy played his high school soccer at Hilton, earning first-team all-county honors an All-Greater Rochester honorable mention honors in 2008. He was also a two-time second-team all-league selection in lacrosse as well as a member of the hockey team.
In 2010 Gaffney appeared in one game for the soccer team after transferring from SUNY Plattsburgh. His role increased in 2011 as he appeared in all 17 games for Nazareth, including 12 starts. He netted his first career goal on October 15, 2011, in a 4-1 victory over Alfred, and added his second goal seven days later in a 2-1 win over Ithaca. He capped the season as Nazareth’s representative as Empire 8 Conference Sportsman of the Year.
Also a member of the men’s lacrosse team, Gaffney returns for his final season of the soccer field looking to help Nazareth improve on its 10-6-1 record.
