Another session of the New York State legislature is about to come to a close and "The Brady Bill" was passed, which provides that any firefighter killed in the line of duty in New York State would be included on the fallen firefighters memorial wall in Albany. For the second year in a row, the bill unaminously passed in the Senate and Assembly. Unfortunately last year, Gov. Cuomo saw fit to veto the legislation. This year the bill has been changed to hopefully satisfy Gov. Cuomo's misgivings and will be signed by him. You can call his office at (518) 474-8390 or log onto www.governor.ny.gov and state your support for this legislation, known as A-10046 and S-7458
