Greece Historical Society will host Dan Cody as he presents “World War I: Rochester Mobilizes for the Great War” at 2 p.m. March 25 at Greece Public Library, 2 Vince Tofany Blvd., Rochester.

Cody, collections manager and registrar at Rochester Historical Society, will discuss the world in 1914 as it was thrown into the Great War. Although the U.S. did not officially enter the war until 1917, attendees will learn how Rochester participated in the war economy and prepared for eventual entry into the war. Once the U.S. had declared war, Rochester was an all American patriotic city.

The presentation had been rescheduled from March 14 due to weather. Reservations are required.
