The Little Italy Neighborhood Association and Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren will celebrate Italian Cultural Day from noon to 2 p.m. Oct. 20 at Rochester City Hall, 30 Church St.

The event will be the first time that the Italian community has been officially welcomed and received at City Hall, and it will be presented in collaboration with Rochester Institute of Technology’s language department, Nazareth College’s Casa Italiana, the City of Rochester, Casa Larga Vineyards and the Little Italy Neighborhood.

Attendees will enjoy a free Italian lunch; a presentation by the Alinari Institute of Florence, Italy, the world’s largest photographic archive and museum founded in 1852; official proclamations by Warren and State Sen. Joseph Robach, R-56th Dist.; and the support of other officials and dignitaries.
