The Greece Chamber of Commerce, presenting sponsor Genesee Regional Bank and keynote speaker Ralph DeStephano will present the 2016 Small Business Awards Luncheon at 11:45 a.m. Nov. 10 at the Rochester Airport Marriott, 1890 West Ridge Road.

The Greece Chamber of Commerce will honor all small businesses and name two enterprising firms as the Greece Chamber’s Small Business of the Year and Microenterprise of the Year.

Cost is $35 for Greece Chamber members; $350 for a table of 10 members; $45 for nonmembers; and $450 for a table of 10 nonmembers.

“I’m delighted to announce that Ralph DeStephano, owner of Buckman Enterprises, has agreed to serve as the keynote speaker for our 2016 Small Business Awards Luncheon on Nov. 10,” said Sarah Lentini, Greece Chamber of Commerce president and CEO. “Ralph’s success in a variety of industries spans many decades. He and his family have spearheaded several community initiatives that remain pivotal to our region. A long-time champion of both business and community, Ralph has been a particularly ardent supporter of youth and education, resulting in his founding the Greece Educational Foundation and the Greece Youth Hall of Fame.”

DeStephano’s current professional affiliations include: director, Rochester Regional Health; director/chairman, Park Ridge Housing Board; member, Greece Education Foundation; member, Monroe County Council for Elders; founder and past chair, Youth Hall of Fame; and member, National Ice Cream Retailers of America.

DeStephano has received awards including Greece Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the Year, 2008; Willie Lightfoot Youth Advocate of the Year, 2002; Marguerite Hare Browne Service to Education, 1998; Richard Scheuerman Award, 1997; and Empire Builder Award, 1989.
