The Webster Marching Band is hosting a full day of events tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 20, culiminating with its annual Autumn Fanfare field band competition at Webster Schroeder High School stadium, 875 Ridge Road.
First, Operation BLUE 2012 is an open house and clinic being held in the stadium from 2 to 4 p.m. The free clinic is offered to any Webster Central School District student in grades 4 to 12 who is interested in color guard, dance, percussion, woodwinds or brass. Interested musicians should bring their own instrument. A parent information session will also be held.
Students participating in the clinic will receive one free ticket to attend Autumn Fanfare.
The annual Autumn FanFare competition is expected to feature eight marching bands from across New York state.
The event starts at 6 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 20. Tickets will be available at the door for $6.
