The Irondequoit Bay Outlet Bridge will open to traffic on Thursday, Nov. 1.
The seasonal swing bridge is put into place to allow cars to drive over the outlet during the winter months.
It’s located on the north end of Irondequoit Bay, spanning between Culver Road and Lake Road.
The work begins at 7 a.m. and should take a minimum of two hours depending on weather conditions.
The bridge will stay open until the end of March.
