It has been a fixture of downtown life for more than 26 years, but now The Pizza Stop is expanding their coverage of the Rochester area and are opening a store in Greece on Ridgeway Ave (the former Pizzeria 5 location).
The store is already open, but the grand opening is scheduled for Saturday at noon.
Jim Staffieri opened the first Pizza Stop in Rochester in 1986 on State Street. The name and many of the recipes date back to the 1950's Brooklyn where the Staffieri's opened their first family pizzeria.
The Pizza Stop not only offers authentic pizza, but their atmosphere and service put you in a New York state of mind as well. They also provide a family-friendly atmosphere with great food and exceptional service at an affordable price.
