Sens. Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand have announced that $775,000 in federal grants will be split between Rochester Institute for Technology, the University of Rochester and the State University of New York College at Brockport.
The funding will encourage under-represented youth to pursue graduate degrees and will focus on degrees in science, technology, engineering and math.
