Monroe County is holding information sessions to encourage residents to consider foster parenting.

Foster parents must be 21 and older, can either be married or single, rent or own a home, and most importantly must want to make a positive impact in the life of a child in need of a safe, secure, loving home.

Free information sessions are planned from now through December. They are held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

To reserve space at one of the information sessions, or to schedule a session in conjunction with your company or organization, call 585-334-9096 or visit www.MonroeFosterCare.org.
