The town of Ogden Parks and Recreation Department will offer the following programs:
Start Smart Basketball will teach basic skills of the game. Parents will work one-on-one with their children to teach dribbling, passing and shooting. Classes are held from 9-9:45 a.m., Saturdays, and will run from Jan. 14 through Feb. 11. The classes are $25 for residents and $30 for nonresidents.
Karate for Kids is designed for young children, and will cover basic martial arts techniques, coordination, skills, memory and more. Classes are from 5:15-6 p.m., Mondays. Classes run from Jan. 9 to Jan. 30, Feb. 6 to Feb. 27, March 5 to March 26, and April 2 to April 30. Classes cost $25 for residents and $30 for nonresidents per month.

Tiny Toddler Dance is a dance class for children that introduces them to the basics of dance and movement. It is held from 6:30-7:15 p.m., Tuesdays, from Jan. 10 through Feb. 14. The cost is $18 for residents and $23 for nonresidents.
Intermediate Tiny Toddler Dance is for small children who have some experience with dance. The class is from 5:45-6:30 p.m., Tuesdays, and will run from Jan. 10 through Feb. 14. Residents pay $18 and nonresidents $23.
Happy Feet Soccer will move inside for the winter. Participants will learn new skills and be able to practice old ones. Classes are from 6-7 p.m., Thursdays, from Jan. 19 through Feb. 16. It costs $48 for residents and $53 for nonresidents per session.

Fun Tennis Workout gives participants the chance to work out while playing tennis and practicing different skills. The class meets from 8-9 a.m., Saturdays, from Jan. 7 to Feb. 4, and 8-9 p.m., Mondays, from Jan. 9 to Feb. 6. The classes are $65 for residents and $70 for nonresidents per session. The class is held at Salmon Creek Country Club.
Pilates for ages 55 and older will be from 10:30-11:15 a.m., Wednesdays, from Jan. 11 to March 7. The class is $55 for residents and $65 for nonresidents per session.
Best of Both Fitness is a high-low class that helps burn calories and strengthen the core. The class is held from 9:15-10:15 a.m., Saturdays, from Jan. 7 and Feb. 25. Classes are $50 for residents and $55 for nonresidents per session.
Beginner Dog Obedience will teach new dog owners everything they need to get started with training their dog. Proof of vaccination is required to participate. The class is held from 6:30-7:30 p.m., Mondays, from Jan. 9 to Feb. 27, and 7:30-8:30 p.m., Mondays, from Feb. 13 to April 2. The class costs $90 for residents and $95 for nonresidents per session. It is held at the Boetcher Lodge at Pineway Ponds Park.
