Greece Community Education will offer medical and Web classes this winter.
The medical classes are:
Medical Office Procedures: Explore the career possibilities of working in a medical office. Topics include patient rapport, secretarial responsibilities, placement of forms within a chart, billing and forms, and more. Computers are not used in this class. Class meets from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Mondays, Jan. 30 through March 5 (no class Feb. 20), at Apollo Middle School, 750 Maiden Lane, in Greece. The fee for this class is $98.
Medical Terminology: Gain an understanding of medical terms through the mastery of word roots, suffixes, prefixes and combining forms. Class meets from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Wednesdays, Feb. 1 through March 21 (no class Feb. 22), at Apollo Middle School, 750 Maiden Lane, in Greece. The fee for this class is $147.

Each course is six weeks long, and all instruction is made available over the Internet. A wide variety of subjects are available, including computers, writing, languages, career and personal enrichment courses. Winter classes begin Jan. 18, Feb. 15, March 21 and April 18.
