The New York State Department of Transportation is beginning work on a bridge project along at the Route 104/390 interchange in Greece.
The bridge that carries the entrance ramp from Route 104 (West Ridge Road) westbound to Route 390 southbound will close on Monday, July 19 after the morning rush hour.
A detour will be posted directing motorists to Mt. Read Boulevard, to Ridgeway Avenue, to the entrance to Route 390 south. Access from Route 104 eastbound to Route 390 south and from West Ridge Road to Route 390 north will not be impacted.
The ramp will be closed while the concrete bridge deck is replaced. The $900,000 contract was awarded to Economy Paving of Cortland, Cortland County.
