Monroe County Clerk Dinolfo announces expansion of online services

Monroe County Clerk Cheryl Dinolfo announced today the expansion of online services available at the Monroe County Clerk’s Office to include Doing Business As (DBA) Applications, as well as DBA Amendments.

Having business forms available online allows the applicant to expeditiously process the documents necessary for the start of their business. While reviewing the procedures on the Monroe County Clerk’s website for starting a business, applicants can view, complete and print the forms from their personal computers.

Details and application forms can be accessed at monroecounty.gov. Completed DBA forms can be filed at the Monroe County Clerk’s Office in person or by mail.

Prior to completing the application, applicants are encouraged to visit the Monroe County Clerk’s online office at gov.propertyinfo.com to search for a desired business name before completing the DBA application to ensure that the proposed business name is not already in use.

Amendments to DBAs as well as DBA Discontinuance forms are also available online. The cost to file a DBA Application or Amendment is $33 for an Individual DBA and $34 for a Partnership DBA. The cost to file a DBA Discontinuance is $2.
