The Monroe County Federation of Social Workers (FSW) is seeking nominations for their eighth annual Human Services Worker of the Year Awards.
Nominations are being sought from members of the Rochester community in six categories: Human services worker of the year from the private sector, human services worker of the year from the public sector, Bertina Forde Rising Star Award, John L. Seebach Volunteer of the Year Award, volunteer organization of the year for businesses and volunteer organization of the year for non-profits.
The awards will recognize those who extend their compassion and knowledge for their field to those in need on a daily basis.
Awards will be presented at a luncheon on Friday, Oct. 12 at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. Anyone can fill out a nomination form. Nomination forms can be found online at fsw-union.com/docs/
The deadline for nomination is Monday, Sept. 10.
