By the time she was 29 years old, Annie Parker had lost her mother, sister, and a cousin to breast cancer. A film based on Parker’s story, “Decoding Annie Parker,” will premiere in Rochester at the Dryden Theatre in the George Eastman House on Monday, June 24.
The case against the Webster teen accused of setting a fire that killed his father and two brothers could go to the jury, to begin deliberations, as soon as Wednesday.
The annual event kicks off Wednesday with a parade.

That’s exactly what local filmmakers sought to discover in their award-winning documentary, “Signs of the Time,” which recently took home three New York State Emmy Awards.
The film explores the somewhat controversial origins of umpire signals by telling the story of two men credited with inventing baseball signs. It features interviews with former major league ballplayers and present day baseball experts.
