Thousands of people attend the GVQC's biennial quilt shows, which can be some of the largest volunteer-run quilt shows in the country. After a two year wait, the show returns to the Gordon Field House at RIT next weekend, May 31 - June 2.
The Patriots upset top seeded Fairport to reach their second straight final, while the Titans eliminate Pittsford to get back to the championship game for the first time since 2009. The finals will be held on Tuesday at St. John Fisher.
The Supreme Court will render a decision on prayer at government meetings sometime next year.

What do you get when you’re a citizen of a state that’s 49th out of 50 in voter participation? You get legislative scandal after legislative scandal, with no end in sight. You get the ethical swamp that is Albany, where news that two state legislators have been wearing wires has put everybody at the Capitol into a defensive crouch. You get yet another recommendation for yet another lame oversight committee. This time, it will surely fix all the problems.
